Questions about tree and shrub care
When is the best time to prune?
Late winter for most deciduous trees, before they leaf out. Spring bloomers right after they finish flowering. We schedule the work for the right window.
Why are my maple leaves yellow?
Usually iron chlorosis. The soil here is alkaline, which locks up iron. A soil-applied iron treatment fixes it for one to three seasons.
Do you remove large trees?
We remove trees up to about 30 feet. For anything larger or over a house, we refer a climbing arborist we trust.
